Today is the series finale of the show, SUPERNATURAL. I've truly enjoyed watching this show about two brothers and the family business of "saving people, hunting things" and it reminds me of the time when I actually got to meet one of the demon hunting brothers.

I used to watch that show, Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous, on VH-1 back in the day. Did you? In his British accent, host Robin Leach would break down the cost of some celebrity’s lifestyle, and then end the half hour segment sending viewers “champagne wishes and caviar dreams.” Those exact same words came to mind when Mr. Ex and I spontaneously dropped by the Korbel Champagne Cellars and Winery. Today, my parents celebrate 55 years of marriage. They got married in 1965. To say that they're the best parents Sis and I could ever have is a major understatement of the universe.

I am very much a homebody. I’m no nature girl. My idea of getting out in nature is going to our local Botanical Gardens. LOL. For. Real. I’m not into hiking at all, because…mountains. They can be breathtaking, but if you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. I love the ocean as well (or in it, if the temp is right), but there’s something about breathing in that scent of the earth. And there’s nothing more inspiring than the trees in Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Preserve. When Mr. Ex and I were researching things to do in Cali, this was one of the things that popped up. And I jumped on that. Mr. Ex and I lived in downtown Phoenix for seven years. As much time as he spent out and about (mostly at his local watering hole hangouts), and as often as we frequented the places down there, neither one of us had been aware of the Farmer’s Market within walking distance of our apartment.
There had been no flyers on the doors. There had been no flyers from the complex office. There had been no mention of it from any of the restaurants and cafe’s we ate at down there. I don’t remember how I’d heard about it, but I only went there once or twice towards the end of our marriage. To this day, I’m kicking my ass for not going more often. Needless to say, I have seen the error of my ways. I read a lot and I read quickly + short, but quick snapshot of my thoughts = Book Shorts. Wet Panty Rating is based on the hawtness of Sexy Times. I’m not much of a tea drinker. That would be Sis. I’ll have hot tea with lemon and honey when I have sore throat. I’ll drink local Loose Leaf Tea Market’s Stomach Soother Tea when I have a little stomach irritation or their Elderberry Tonic Tea when I feel a little sumpin-sumpin' trying to sneak up on me. I like Brisk's Raspberry Iced Tea and Arizona's Green Tea with honey. And lately, Sis and I have been making our own chaga tea with actual chunks of chaga tree bark. But if you consider yourself to be a tea connoisseur then you should definitely check out Duncans Mills Tea Shop (formerly known as Mr. Trombly’s Tea). I just want to say that I am not a medical professional. The opinions expressed in this post are purely one hundred percent my own and should be read as such. What works for me may not, or will not, work for you. Please consult your doctor for advice.
