The Life of Afrodite “Things To Do In Cali” Mini-Series. I’m not much of a tea drinker. That would be Sis. I’ll have hot tea with lemon and honey when I have sore throat. I’ll drink local Loose Leaf Tea Market’s Stomach Soother Tea when I have a little stomach irritation or their Elderberry Tonic Tea when I feel a little sumpin-sumpin' trying to sneak up on me. I like Brisk's Raspberry Iced Tea and Arizona's Green Tea with honey. And lately, Sis and I have been making our own chaga tea with actual chunks of chaga tree bark. But if you consider yourself to be a tea connoisseur then you should definitely check out Duncans Mills Tea Shop (formerly known as Mr. Trombly’s Tea). This little hidden gem of a place sits among other quaint shops in the little village of Duncans Mills. If anything, you should check out these purveyors of all things tea simply for the wall of loose leaf tea. When this was Mr. Trombly's Tea, there was actually two walls of tea. Since it's now been taken over, I don't know if they still have the other wall, but it was definitely an overwhelming sight to see. So. Much. Tea. Too. Many. Choices. Thank God they had tea experts there to help you out. Mr. Ex and I had bought a tea diffuser and 2oz bags of Strawberry Peach, Cafe Latte and Stress Blocker. The Strawberry Peach actually has bits of dried strawberries and peaches in it, and the Cafe Latte has coffee bean bits in it. Which we thought was pretty cool. He drank the Cafe Latte and rarely drank the Stress Blocker (if ever. He sure needed it), but I took the bag of Strawberry Peach in the divorce. Hah. It’s quite tasty when it's "on the rocks". I tried it hot and wasn't all that impressed with it. It's definitely meant to be enjoyed cold. Now, I just need to get more of it so that I can make some sun tea. The balcony outside my bedroom isn't all that great to sit on, but the porch out front though...
